The Department of Health and Kinesiology participated in this year's "Christmas Under The Bridge" spearheaded by the City's Community Initiatives Office. Christmas Under the Bridge provided services to over a 1,000 of San Antonio's homeless on December 8th. Services ranged from job placement, housing, legal counseling to basic necessities such as hygiene items, food, blankets and clothing. The mobile health lab provided blood pressure and BMI screenings and distributed gift cards and toys to those in need.
