As a student in the COEHD, you have the opportunity to learn from the best.  You will find that the COEHD faculty members have received numerous awards for their teaching and for their research.  In addition, many of them are considered to be leaders in their professions and have earned national and international reputations.  They come to UTSA from across the United States and from around the world and bring exciting and varied experiences to their classrooms.

A team of professionals are prepared to help you through other areas that are equally important to your success.  These include the Directors of: Academic Advising, Certification, School Partnerships, Student Teaching, TExES and TExES Review Instructor, and Undergraduate Student Services.

Each member of the team holds a minimum of a Masters degree and has substantial experience in the “real world” in addition to higher education. The team regularly participates in professional development opportunities and stays abreast of current trends across the state and nation.
