Only Faculty/Staff that are currently in the College of Education & Human
Development are allowed to use the lab.
This facility will be operated on a first-come, first-serve
basis.
Please be judicious in making reservations and allow ample
time for special needs and/or preparations.
The Reservation will be forfeited 30 minutes after the scheduled
start time if the instructor/requestor is not yet present.
Faculty will be responsible for opening and closing (locking)
the lab.
Only students that are currently enrolled in the class may
use the lab while class is in session.
For safety of the students, computers and equipment, students
are NOT ALLOWED to stay in the teaching lab after class
is over and the instructor has left.
Printing is restricted to documents generated in the teaching
lab for class-related projects ONLY. PROHIBITIONS include all
printing of web-based material (research, e-mail, etc.); course
material outside your lecture class (notes, assignments, reports,
etc.) and any other material deemed not appropriate.
Food and Drinks are PROHIBITED in the Teaching
Lab (both the lecture and computer side).
DO NOT attempt to move any tables or chairs. The set-up of the classroom is final.
Please be courtesy of your fellow faculty and make sure all seats are back in place and paper is not left behind on the tables.
Students/Faculty/Staff may NOT install ANY software on the
computers. For any software installation, contact Marisol Johnson.
Software installation includes permission from the manufacture
of the software and a 3-week lead-time in order to prepare for
installation.
Under no circumstances should one attempt to disassemble or
repair any equipment, this includes all computers, printers
and peripheral devices. This responsibility is left solely to
the staff of the Lab, with which all requests should be made.
Do not tamper with the computers. Do not attempt to
reboot or shut them off for any reason. If you encounter
any problems with the computer, please contact Marisol Johnson
for immediate consultation.
All data must be backed up and stored on personal removable
media. Documents being stored on lab computers are not guaranteed.
Removal of all said data will be done once a week. Customizing
the computer system and desktop is prohibited.
Computer labs are for academic use only. Please refrain from
engaging in activities that are not directly related to your
learning or that violate University
policies.
